Job Description

Come join our Kubernetes platform team to build, deploy, operate, and improve our clusters. Help expand our available service offerings with as many CNCF supported options as we can get our hands on. Help guide the adoption of Kubernetes across the organization. You will configure and maintain the production grade of Kubernetes clusters. Ensure the resiliency of containerized workloads through application autoscaling, fault tolerance, and high availability. Help with monitoring production containerized workloads through tools like Prometheus and Grafana from a deep understanding of the principles of creating Kubernetes operators and infrastructure as code to manage stateful workloads on the cluster.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with deploying Kubernetes within a platform or cloud offerings, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
  • Experience with using or migrating continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins, Git, or TeamCity
  • Experience with designing, developing, deploying, or delivering using automation techniques or tools, including Ansible or Git
  • Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMware, or OpenShift
  • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Experience working with and influencing software development teams
  • Knowledge of Linux, including Ubuntu, RHEL, or CentOS with a focus on the web, including Apache or Nginx
  • Knowledge of protocols and technologies, including Microservices, SOA, HTTP, SSL/TLS, LDAP, JDBC, SQL, or HTML
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ Certification
