Job Description

Produce visual elements that enhance planning, training, and exercise materials and contribute to a greater understanding of client workflows, processes, procedures, and operations

Significant flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in Graphic Design, Graphic Arts, Digital Arts & Design, Fine Arts, or related field preferred)
  • 3 to 10 years of graphic design experience
  • Works closely with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to identify the requirements of requested products
  • Plans initial design concept by studying information and materials provided by client
  • Illustrates initial concept by designing the rough layout of art and copy; determining the arrangement, size, and style of copy and other design concepts; and considering other related aesthetic elements
  • Engages with client to obtain approval of initial design concept, revising and modifying the initial concept as needed based on feedback
  • Prepares the finished product and delivers the final graphic in the requested format
  • Proficient in print design; Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Visio, and Acrobat Pro
  • Experience supporting federal government clients (DHS experience preferred)
