Job Description

Red Gate is seeking a Program Management Support Office to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Research and Development (RD) Program Management Office (PMO) Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) contract.  The Program Management Office Analyst provides the DTRA Research and Development (R&D) Directorate with project management analysis that facilitates and supports activities in the Program/Project Management Office (PMO) by designing, interpreting, and recommending reports and metrics used in the analysis of key project indicators.  Contributes to the development, implementation, and oversight of the project process methodology. Perform administrative actions as directed.

 

Specific duties include: 

  • Gives support to and initiates appropriate project processes which ensure forward progress, highlight and mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with stated project objectives.
  • Assists project leaders as they scan the business environment to identify potential issues that may impact the quality of services, interfere with the organization's ability to manage its risks, and/or create opportunities to address these issues more effectively   
  • Organizing and facilitating project planning 
  • Employing communication between project stakeholders 
  • Developing schedule reports to include critical paths, driving paths, execution metrics, baseline metrics, and charts 
  • Providing analysis to support decisions to control project results 
  • Use SharePoint to organize documents 
  • Understanding capability gaps and assisting in the setting project- and product-level strategy and priorities, ensuring the portfolio is responsive and mapped to program goals 
  • Coordinating and consolidating complex, technical, programmatic, and strategic responses to support initiatives to a variety of internal and external audiences  

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctorate degree with 5-15 years of experience; Bachelors with 10-15 years of experience; or Associates degree with 15 or more years of experience  
  • Expertise in MS Office, MS Project and SharePoint 
  • PMI PMP certified (desired)
