The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for building strong partnerships with a portfolio of regional customers and helping grow Red Bull's business within those accounts. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to develop solutions that support their goals while driving sustainable growth, distribution, visibility, promotional execution, and overall sales performance for Red Bull.
Success in this role comes from developing trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, and turning insights into action. You'll help bring Red Bull's sales strategies to life at the regional level, ensure alignment with broader account plans, and contribute innovative ideas and best practices that deliver results for both the customer and the business. Working collaboratively across teams, the RSM plays a key role in creating long-term value and supporting the continued growth of Red Bull's brands.
Job Description
MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT OF REGIONS/BANNERS/DIVISIONS OF ACCOUNT
Partner with regional customers to grow Red Bull's business through strong execution of distribution, pricing, promotions, and merchandising initiatives.
Help ensure Red Bull products are available, visible, and positioned for success across assigned regions, divisions, or banners.
Collaborate with customers to develop solutions that meet their business needs while supporting shared growth goals.
Bring sales strategies to life in a way that is relevant to each customer and market.
MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT OF LOCAL RELATIONSHIPS
Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers across assigned accounts.
Stay closely connected with customers to understand their priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
Foster collaboration and open communication across regional teams and business partners.
Create consistent ways of working and sharing insights with internal teams and distributor partners.
BUDGETS/ANNUAL PLANNING
Help ensure regional programs align with broader customer agreements and business objectives.
Manage travel and entertainment budgets responsibly and effectively.
Contribute to annual planning efforts by identifying opportunities to drive growth and maximize results.
BUSINESS ANALYSIS
Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and promotional results to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
Measure the effectiveness of programs and investments to help guide future decisions.
Work with cross-functional partners to uncover insights about shopper behavior and purchasing patterns.
Translate data into actionable recommendations that support both customer and business goals.
BUSINESS REVIEWS & RELATIONSHIPS
Conduct regular business reviews with customers and internal stakeholders to share results, discuss opportunities, and align on priorities.
Share industry, category, and consumer insights that help customers make informed business decisions.
Highlight innovative ideas, successful programs, and growth opportunities that differentiate Red Bull in the marketplace.
COMMUNICATION & TEAMWORK
Work closely with distributor partners, customer teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of regional programs and initiatives.
Maintain clear, proactive communication to keep teams aligned and informed.
Support a culture of partnership, accountability, and shared success.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years Sales and Key Account experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in beverage, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industries or within a Direct Store Delivery DSD) operation
- Should have experience in chains across multiple channels (grocery and/or convenience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Innovative, solution-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $85,000- $132,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
