The Regional Insight Specialist plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the Caribbean region by developing, updating, and analyzing sales data, building forecasts, identifying trends and insights, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations to budget owners and commercial leaders, ultimately contributing to business performance and strategic planning.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze the trade sales budget to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Monitor and analyze daily and monthly internal sales performance, identifying efficiency opportunities, growth levers, and market share expansion across all SKUs.
Prepare comprehensive sales performance reports and track key performance indicators.
Analyze market share, execution, and POS performance using internal and external data sources.
Provide analysis and feedback on promotional activities, including consumer activations and price points, to maximize ROI and customer profitability.
Support the identification of key market opportunities, KPIs, and sales levers in collaboration with distribution partners.
Analytics Tools & Business Intelligence
Design, develop, and maintain customized reports aligned with evolving business needs and stakeholder requirements.
Deliver monthly reporting packages covering internal sales performance by channel, SKU, and outlet type.
Maintain, update, and continuously improve Regional and National Sales dashboards.
Develop and enhance analytical tools and reporting solutions that improve sales performance and empower sales teams.
Act as the key user and data owner for BI reporting, ensuring data accuracy, cleanliness, governance, and availability as the single source of truth for the Sales Team.
Data Management & Partner Collaboration
Collect, validate, and report sales and distribution data from distribution partners, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability.
Maintain ongoing communication with distribution partners to support reliable data submission processes (including Excel uploads).
Track and report progress against incentive targets agreed with individual distribution partners.
Support distribution partners in identifying opportunities, developing incentive campaigns, and improving execution.
Provide technical support and guidance to Distribution and Key Account teams to ensure effective use of sales applications and analytical tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing or similar.
Minimum 3 year, in experience in consumer goods and direct contact with market/commercial indicators.
English / Spanish required.
Experience with Excel sheets and numbers analysis.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Attention to detail, logical thinker.
Analytical, research and problem solving skills.
High numerical ability.
Must have the ability to retrieve, understand and interpret data from numerous sources.
