Company Description
Bring music learning to life.
MyGroove is an innovative music-learning app supported by Red Bull, redefining how people pick up an instrument. We make music education accessible, engaging, and fun – for beginners and advanced musicians alike.
In this role, you’ll drive the growth of MyGroove. You’ll own user acquisition, experiment across channels, and scale a community of music learners across DACH and beyond. If you live in mobile growth, think in data, and care about music, this is your stage.
Job Description
Own user acquisition & performance marketing
You’ll take end-to-end ownership of user acquisition for the MyGroove app, turning strategy into hands-on execution. You’ll plan, launch, and optimize paid and organic campaigns across channels like Meta Ads, Apple Search Ads, TikTok, Google Ads, and any new platforms that make sense for our audience. You’ll build a lean creative production engine, working with partners and creators or producing performance assets yourself. Using MMP and product analytics tools, you’ll track the full funnel and optimize for real outcomes such as revenue after marketing, CPI, CAC, retention, LTV, and subscription KPIs. You’ll use these insights to expand beyond DACH and scale the markets and channels that perform best.
Build organic and community-driven growth
You’ll experiment with new organic growth levers and turn the strongest ideas into repeatable playbooks. You’ll drive initiatives such as creator collaborations, social and community activations, and you’ll support impactful written content for the website and lifecycle marketing. You’ll spot and launch pilot B2B partnerships that open up new audiences and you’ll use offline tactics like smart merch distribution and targeted offline advertising when they can add measurable value.
Represent MyGroove in the real world
You’ll plan and run MyGroove’s presence at key music and education touchpoints, including trade shows, conferences, music school activations, and partner events, mainly across the DACH region. On-site, you’ll represent the brand, connect with musicians, educators, and partners, and turn events into opportunities for awareness, adoption, and insight.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in app growth, with a strong focus on user acquisition and performance-driven marketing strategies across mobile platforms.
Strong hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, App Store Optimization (ASO), and leading analytics and MMP tools, with a proven ability to optimize and scale acquisition channels.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, a quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience, combined with a highly analytical mindset and a deep understanding of subscription-based business models.
Proven track record in project management, with the ability to design, execute, and analyze multiple experiments in parallel while collaborating cross-functionally with product, content, and operations teams.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-driven working style; based in Europe with willingness to relocate to Salzburg or travel regularly, and ideally a strong interest in music or motivation to learn an instrument to better understand users and the product.
