Are you passionate about the gaming ecosystem, driving creativity, and making an impact? Do you love gaming events like Red Bull League of It’s Own, Red Bull Legends Inn, and Red Bull Home Ground? Reporting into the Gaming Manager of the Central region, you will play a pivotal role in supporting three key initiatives that will help build a comprehensive gaming program in the Central US. The Regional Sports Marketing, Gaming intern will support activations with our Red Bull Players and Creators, help launch, execute and recap gaming projects and activations in the region, and support the broader Sports and Field Marketing teams with relevant projects. You will impact the gaming consumer, supporting several key gaming initiatives within the region, while learning about the fundamentals of sports marketing at Red Bull. You will walk away from this internship with a thorough understanding of Gaming event management, along with broad exposure to Sports Marketing at Red Bull.

Job Description

GAMING EVENT MANAGMENT

Help organize and create necessary materials to officially kick off Red Bull Gaming projects

Be onsite to support the execution of Red Bull Titled gaming events, activations, and supported events in the market

Assist with recapping, consolidating, and reporting on executed events, presenting materials to leadership and stakeholders

 

GAMING CREATOR MAPPING

Support activations of our national Red Bull Player and Creator roster

Assist with developing a regional gaming network map of gaming focused creators based in the region

Support creator marketing in building profiles and relationships with gaming creators in the market, to help expand Red Bull’s reach

 

CROSS FUNCTIONAL GAMING ACTIVATION

Scout and suggest 3rd party gaming events and activity within the region for Red Bull to capitalize on to expand reach

Support execution of field marketing led gaming activations and events on partnered college campuses

Collaborate with field marketing and On Premise to map out potential gaming events and venues, to help grow the Red Bull’s reach

Learn the fundamentals of athlete management and sports event management, and support both departmental leads with smaller projects

Qualifications

Actively enrolled in college/university as an undergraduate or graduate student

Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship

Demonstrated initiative through academics, work experience, or extracurricular involvement

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent presentation skills, with a strong attention to detail

Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft professional suite • A familiarity with gaming and esports events, the gaming ecosystem, event management, and/or marketing

Excellent understanding of gaming and esports industry trends

An interest and deep passion for pursuing a full time career in gaming

A growth mindset, with the ability to learn quickly, adapt to new environments, and incorporate feedback

Creative, innovative, and open minded

The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
