Company Description

The Manager of Point of Sale is responsible for optimizing and implementing all POS process changes for RBNA that help Red Bull present itself as the number one brand in retail. This role oversees the development, alignment, and execution of new systems and process improvements to ensure that POS initiatives deliver final materials on time and within budget.

The POS process adheres to rigorous brand standards and depends on a large network of distributors to place point-of-sale materials in each retail location at the right time. This requires specialized supply chain forecasting and methodologies to achieve Just-In-Time inventory management for POS materials.

This role leads through influence across key stakeholders (Brand, Insights, Trade Marketing, Operations, Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Distribution, and Global counterparts) to ensure strategic alignment across the business. The Manager will also identify and lead improvement initiatives by initiating, managing, and driving projects that enhance the overall health of the global POS process.

Job Description

INNOVATION IN BP PROCESS

Indirectly manage the team responsible for evaluating and recommending improvements to the pre-buy and Business Planning (BP) process for RBNA.

Oversee the timeline and project management of the BP process across all Trade Marketing functions.

Project manage global and RBNA cross-functional stakeholders to ensure adherence to established Business Planning task timelines and on-time BP submission to headquarters.

DATA ANALYSIS AND REPORTING

Serve as a trusted expert and consultant to leadership on POS execution data for National Pillars, Regional Activations, and National Big Moments.

Partner with Operations and Trade Finance to provide leadership with KPI reporting on inventory levels and execution, and deliver actionable recommendations to achieve strategic objectives.

Present inventory reports for third-party distributors and RBDC warehouses.

Consolidate and analyze year-over-year business planning targets and provide recommendations.

POS PROCESS OPTIMIZATION

Document existing business processes to recommend continuous improvements that benefit end users and enhance in‑market execution of the trade marketing strategy.

Derive actionable insights from market trends and translate them into solutions required by the field (e.g., eco‑friendly and sustainable solutions).

Lead all business re‑engineering activities to improve performance, including the planning, ordering, and placement of POS and printed materials to outlet locations nationwide via distributor partners.

Identify technical problems and develop solutions that support business objectives.

Manage the tracking and resolution of process issues affecting sales employees, distributors, and vendors.

Propose innovative digital solutions—from Robotic Process Automation to Artificial Intelligence—to eliminate manual tasks and reduce errors in the process.

EXECUTION

Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives based on sales objectives, inventory levels, and overall business needs.

Oversee cross-functional implementation of point-of-sale (POS) materials in the field according to established marketing timelines.

Escalate issues from the field to the appropriate cross-functional stakeholders and manage the process through to resolution.

Manage and execute centralized POS ordering, both for ad hoc business needs and for planned tentpole events.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry

Proven experience leading POS process design initiatives with beverage companies

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies

Direct experience working on supply chain reengineering initiatives

Advanced degree required; MBA strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process improvements at both national and global levels

Exceptional communication skills, including strong presentation and facilitation abilities

Strong knowledge of insights, marketing, sales, and distribution principles

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - 138,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
