Company Description
Reporting to the Senior Field Support Manager, the Field Support Manager (FSM) supports efforts to drive operational excellence within Red Bull’s On-Premise Distribution network by streamlining processes, strengthening distributor manager capabilities, and developing scalable tools and resources aligned with brand standards. With a strong focus on field execution, this role will build trust across regions by enabling On-Premise Distribution Managers (OPDMs) and distributor partners to lead the Energy Drink category, expand distribution (both in breadth and depth), and outperform local competitors in line with the national strategy.
This position requires close collaboration with multiple functions and departments, including Distribution, IT, On-Premise Marketing, Accounting, Training, Business Insights & Analytics, Key Accounts, and Field Sales. Operating as one integrated team, the Field Support Manager will prioritize initiatives, identify and explore new opportunities, and deliver comprehensive digital and physical solutions that can be scaled effectively.
Under the guidance of the Senior Manager, the Field Support Manager will implement structured planning, clear communication, best-in-class tools, and targeted training programs. They will manage a portfolio of core annual projects, requiring exceptional skills in project management, prioritization, field engagement, and presentation.
Job Description
EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE
Digitize and enhance the usability of sales tools, business applications, and training materials.
Ensure that all distribution tools, deliverables, and applications comply with Red Bull’s brand standards.
Collaborate with the Trade Marketing team to optimize the frequency of digital asset publishing on WingTips and improve field execution processes.
Support the coordination of Sales Training Academies, and provide presentation support for National Meetings, Top-to-Top meetings, and global visits.
Facilitate and support ongoing internal training sessions (“Skill Pills”) for OPDMs, as well as external trainings (e.g., “WingTips 101”).
Devote approximately 33% of working time to in-market activities to support field teams and identify opportunities to improve productivity.
MANAGES NATIONAL TOOLS & COMMUNICATION
Develop national tools and resources for sales and distribution teams, including skill-building guides, all-hands meetings, and lineup calls.
Serve as the product owner for Red Bull Wingtips and Red Bull Take Off, with a focus on improving operational efficiency.
Oversee the Core Broker Cooler Request automation process and the Broadline food show notification pipeline.
Manage updates to the DSD bill-back and free-goods forms.
Support the development of the On-Premise Pocket Guide.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to define requirements and implement new solutions.
DISTRIBUTION PROGRAMMING DESIGN
Responsible for the design of the Independent Trade Program (VIP) and the Pay for Performance (PFP) program.
Develops the program in partnership with the Senior Manager and the Director of Distribution–DSD to determine appropriate distributor discounts and to ensure alignment with the RBNA leadership team and Finance.
Manages all content creation and communication for program selling tools—including launch presentations, sell sheets, and training materials—to ensure all resources are clear, easily understood, and useful for field teams.
Qualifications
5+ years of outstanding sales and distribution experience and a strong track record in the consumer goods industry, preferably beverages
Proven experience working with both distributors and suppliers
Experience providing consulting support to third-party distributor partners
Demonstrated ability to drive change and collaborate effectively
Tactical thinker with strong business acumen
Strong communication skills, including presentation and training capabilities
Strong analytical skills and experience using both internal and external data sources
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
