In a nutshell 
As the Global Music Communications Manager, you'll guide and support the execution of media strategies for locally led music marketing projects. You'll ensure clear, consistent, and cohesive messaging through a fully integrated 360° communications approach, leveraging managed, earned, and owned channel initiatives to drive brand relevance and awareness.  

You'll showcase product functionality and foster meaningful engagement across core, casual, and new audiences in local markets. Your projects will span music events, content formats, media campaigns, and social initiatives.  

 

Strategic Project Management 

In this role, you'll oversee and guide the implementation of media strategies for locally led music marketing initiatives, including events and content, with the goal of creating impact and sparking word-of-mouth among key target audiences - core, casual, and new - across owned, earned, and managed channels. You'll work closely with the insights team to analyze and evaluate projects, providing meaningful learnings that inform future strategies. You'll evaluate results and translate these insights from release plans into long-term strategies and educational resources.  

Additionally, you'll collaborate with the Channel Manager and Producer to align project execution in content and release plans with the media strategy, as well as overall project and brand objectives.  

You'll identify and evaluate media distribution opportunities for network projects in close collaboration with the media partnerships team, while also fostering strong alignment and collaboration between the music marketing, event, content, digital, and social teams. 

 

Communication Management & Storytelling 

You'll translate the overall network strategy into actionable communication plans by crafting compelling story angles and narratives that build brand awareness and highlight product functionality. You'll collaborate with the Creator Marketing team to identify creator partnership opportunities for projects and develop network-specific guidelines for Red Bull country teams.  

In addition, you'll support the Channel Manager and Producer in defining impactful story angles for programming activations and content. You'll also guide and oversee Red Bull country teams to ensure the delivery of impactful still imagery from events and content productions. 

 

Collaboration & Localization 

In this role, you’ll drive global media activations by providing strategic advice and mentorship to Red Bull country teams, supporting their local initiatives. You'll identify local opportunities, projects, and narratives with the potential to scale globally.  

Additionally, you'll develop centralized strategic tools and resources to empower Red Bull country teams to effectively activate global projects at the local level. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a music-based communications role that covers earned, owned and managed channels, working with music artists and entities on deadline-driven projects 

  • Clear understanding of the global entertainment, music and culture industry - including best practices around video and social formats and campaigns 

  • Strong understanding of audience profiling  

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset. 

  • Ability to create strong relationships across departments and senior managers. Well-organized with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. 

  • A team player with the ability to communicate efficiently and reliably in a multilingual, multicultural environment. 

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is €2.362 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
