Assure that the goods are going to be deliver on the agreed date by following up the process with the departments and suppliers involved from the invoice emission until the delivery. This process avoids penalties and redeliveries.

Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Demand & Supply Planning Coordinator develops and maintains an 18-month rolling demand plan for finished goods and promotional items using statistical models and SAP IBP, incorporating insights from Sales, Marketing, and Finance. This role manages supply flow to ensure full stock availability and optimal inventory, aligning with financial (Hyperion) and sales (CPM) targets. The coordinator collaborates with Red Bull México peers to implement best practices in line with PPL HQ.

 

Additionally, oversees the import department to ensure all products comply with Mexican regulations, manages the budget, and maintains financial transparency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- PLANNING & STRATEGY

Responsible for analyzing the historical sales data, trends, base growth,distribution, market share and create/analyze a statistical forecast and determine the Operations Demand Plan in order to challenge/align with the Sales Demand Plan.

- S&OP PLANNING

Responsible for supporting the Ops Manager in driving the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and defining the meetings(structure),deadlines for finished goods products and VISIT/POS items according to the Global Guidelines.

- SUPPLY PLANNING / EXECUTION

Translate monthly (globally balanced) supply plan to a weekly planning according to the guidelines, restrictions from Global Supply Chain Planning & Global Logistics HQ.

Lead solutions findings and execution of demand and supply imbalances.

- IMPORTS

Coordinate import processes: Manage shipments from international suppliers, including customs clearance, documentation, and logistics.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Industrial engineering, Logistics engineering, business administration, or equivalent.

Minimum 4 years’ experience in Demand or Logitics or Customer Service in a multinational industry environment.

Advanced English

Good negotiation skills.

Relationship builder with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Solution, Quality and Service oriented.

Proven ability to run analysis from multiple sources, providing reliable and valuable outputs.

An entrepreneurial “can do” attitude facilitated by continuous improvement and application of appropriate “best practices”.

Good skills in all MS products (Excel, Word, Power Point) is a must, Access is a plus.

Knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP APO and BI is a plus.
