Company Description
The Senior Manager of Merchandising is responsible for overseeing and implementing the national strategy for RBDC's merchandising program. This role aims to enhance partner satisfaction and maintain a strong organizational focus on delivering exceptional merchandising standards, consistently exceeding partner expectations. The individual in this position will offer leadership, support, guidance, and vision to all Merchandising Managers involved in merchandising activities across all RBDC regions.
Job Description
Evaluate, analyze, define, and recommend merchandising structures, metrics, budgets, and headcount planning to improve overall merchandising performance.
Develop and implement process improvements within the merchandising structure to ensure adherence to high-quality standards and best practices.
Establish and prioritize all merchandising KPIs, strategies, and goals for the National Reset Merchandising Manager, Merchandiser Manager, and Merchandising Lead.
Collaborate with and influence the leadership team (Vice President, Director of Sales & Distribution, General Sales Manager) on all merchandising initiatives. Regularly present updates during Monthly Performance Reviews (MPRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and other ad hoc reporting sessions for leadership.
Coordinate with Red Bull North America (RBNA) to align with guidelines, establish long-term strategies, and guide organizational decisions.
Oversee the development and enhancement of Merchandising Tools (such as routing, surveys, mileage tracking, etc.).
Lead, design, implement, and sustain training programs for the merchandising teams.
Assess the overall merchandising culture and engagement levels within profit centers, partnering with leaders to develop action plans that address trends or issues.
Collaborate with external partners to research and introduce new capabilities into the merchandising framework.
Qualifications
5+ years of managerial and/or business development experience is preferred.
Possesses strong planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Highly skilled in implementing and executing strategic plans effectively.
Advanced expertise in sales merchandising, business development, and retail operations.
Proficient in utilizing analytical methods to validate merchandising hypotheses and assess program effectiveness.
Demonstrates strong leadership and managerial abilities.
Requires a minimum of 5-8 years of experience, including proven results in CPG field sales merchandising.
Proven capability as a creative problem solver.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare presentation materials and convey information both one-on-one and in group settings.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Demonstrates strong analytical and organizational skills.
Familiarity with computer ordering systems and other IT systems.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Regularly lift, move, and place up to 25 pounds of inventory or advertising materials.
Exposed to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
Operates motor vehicles exceeding 10,000 pounds.
Ensures overall safety and proper operation of motor vehicles.
Adheres to all DOT physical and safety requirements.
Additional Information
This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.
The base salary for this position is $144,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
