Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
On-Premise Trade Marketing [OPTM] Manager will be a national role that focuses on the development, implementation and cultivation of the Red Bull brand image and the increase of the Red Bull share of mind in the On-Premise environment. He/She will be a strong collaborator, interfacing with all key stakeholders to maximize impact and leverage of major On-Premise image building and consumption driving initiatives.
The OPTM will be responsible to train the On-Premise team in all new On-Premise industry marketing tools and concepts, ensuring increased availability, visibility and activation of Red Bull at the POS. He/She will be a key contributor to the annual On-Premise Marketing business plan, deriving actionable insights and developing strategies and tactics. S/he will be reporting to the On-Premise Marketing Manager.
Trade Marketing
- Support field team into high quality account hi5 activation in accounts
- Support allocation of POS tools and monitor their correct placement
- Lead consumer activation programs driving engagement and volume uplift in the on-premise
- Leverage our brand assets to win new consumers
- Track, record and evaluate all results of marketing activities implemented
Activating the catering universe in WORK and STUDY
- OPTM is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase market share within the Catering sector.
- This role involves data analysis, having a good understanding of the category, identifying market opportunities and collaborating with sales teams, clients and external agencies to develop targeted marketing campaigns and support sales efforts.
- Develop a yearlong activation calendar with Key Account Manager field team to drive consumption and special offers.
- Develop comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives and overall brand messaging to increase product awareness and generate leads in the catering segment.
- Work closely with internal teams such as brand marketing, sales and supply chain to ensure alignment and seamless execution of marketing programs within the catering channel.
- Work closely with the field Marketing team to win study universe and EPC in campus.
- Develop a yearlong activation calendar with field marketing to drive consumption and special offers.
- Support field marketing for Red Bull and 3rd party events on campus such as Red Bull in my hood, college festivals, tech festivals etc to look like and be the number one brand on campus.
Key Account Marketing
- Take active role in Key Account Marketing which includes the support of key accounts and their 360 degree plans throughout the year.
- Engage with Key Accounts Manager and customers such as KFC, PVR INOX Cinemas, Quickbite, Marriott hotels etc to develop a yearlong activation calendar for Key accounts.
- Uncover important Key Account segment trends and opportunities and develop creative marketing solutions by segment.
- Development of activation plans & toolkits for selected key customers to drive distribution and volume by ensuring we Look Like #1 & Win vs Competition.
- Leverage marketing assets and calendar to build strong association with Key Account partners and execute and to end segment activation strategy
- Engage with Industry through Red Bull initiatives and concepts (from events to experiences, incentives and others) that increase share of mind with industry stakeholders, including distributors sales force, staff, decision makers, owners and influencers, all resulting into increased sales.
- Develop performance driving concepts that will be engaging for Staff and Franchise owners, resulting in higher share of mind and overall sales in Key Accounts.
- Ensure a strong network with external agencies, key influencers, event organizers and the local scene, searching for new collaboration opportunities.
Engage consumers with Red Bull via consumer activation
- Develop national consumer activation in On-Premise strategy for different accounts, outlets and events.
- Develop On-Premise angle to existing consumer activation initiatives from the Off Premise and brand teams.
Qualifications
- Looking for a Graduate with 7-8 Yrs of work experience OR Post Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing or brand marketing, preferably within fmcg
- Post Graduate Degree/Graduate Degree in Marketing/Business
- A strong understanding and love of, the local on-premise industry
- Ability to analyze complex trends and connect the dots between multifaceted disciplines
- Solid understanding of sales processes & high-level negotiation with key accounts
- Demonstrated experience in planning, project management and establishing new business partnerships, along with strong presentation skills
- Self-motivated, innovative, solution-oriented mindset, with a “do-it-now” attitude. You are flexible and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation and active listening.
