The National Marketing Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving all marketing activities to ensure a relevant and inspiring brand image. As the head of the marketing team and a member of the Red Bull Slovak Board Team, this role combines strategic vision, leadership, and creativity to shape the future of the brand in the local market. The position involves a deep understanding of the local consumer and full ownership of the business strategy and brand values, with a focus on developing and executing the country marketing plan. The Marketing Manager sets short- and mid-term objectives to build a desirable and relevant brand image, drive Top Of Mind Awareness (TOMA) growth, conversion, and enhance product understanding and trust among consumers.

This role requires a strategic thinker and a natural team leader who can inspire the team, take ownership of the brand, and continuously look for innovative ways to elevate Red Bull’s presence in the market. A passion for the brand, a senior-level marketing background with a proven track record of impactful ideas and demonstrated  leadership skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Job Description

Strategic Direction

As the National Marketing Manager, you will ensure that the country business plan effectively addresses challenges to win new consumers and build loyalty among existing ones. You will develop and take full ownership of the marketing component of the annual business plan, while generating valuable consumer insights in collaboration with the Brand Team to shape ATL and BTL strategies, steer the optimal product and packaging portfolio, make informed pricing decisions, and strategically allocate marketing and trade investments. Focus of your role will be also to drive trial among new and infrequent users across all relevant consumption occasions, while increasing product understanding and trust among consumers.

Marketing Innovation

The National Marketing Manager acts as an entrepreneur, fostering creativity and innovation to ensure Red Bull seizes every opportunity to strengthen the brand and the can, while preserving its global equity.

In this role, in collaboration with your responsible team members, you will lead the creation and execution of consumer-relevant sports and cultural events, maintaining Red Bull’s leadership in action sports while tapping into locally relevant opportunities and also driving top athlete-performance programmes and ensures the delivery of comprehensive 360-degree plans around top athletes. In collaboration with the Brand Manager, you will develop an advertising plan aligned with the global strategy, addressing country-specific challenges and opportunities with messages that drive Top Of Mind Awareness (TOMA) and enhance the brand image. A strong understanding of digital trends and social media will allow you to connect with young consumers, expanding Red Bull’s reach and engagement.

Shapes the overall value of a brand by deeply understanding the consumer and translating those insights into impactful marketing strategies. The ability to understand the consumer deeply and translate those insights into impactful marketing activities that directly drives the brand’s value and relevance is crucial.

The National Marketing Manager defines the brand’s positioning, executes multi-channel campaigns to ensure that every action contributes to the larger business goals.

By aligning marketing initiatives with sales objectives and business goals, the National Marketing Manager ensures a unified approach that drives growth across the organization. He/she is driving success through consumer understanding and collaborative leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of marketing experience in FMCG with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strategic leadership with the ability to take initiative and ownership
  • A creative mind with a track record of creating and executing impactful ideas
  • Proven ability to cultivate and motivate teams and develop talent
  • Strong planning, analytical, and budgetary skills
  • Knowledge of the FMCG industry, including agency and sales insights and understanding of digital trends, media behavior, and consumer insights
  • Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A passion for sports, culture, and the Red Bull brand.
  • Fluency in English and in Slovak/Czech—verbal and written.

Additional Information

Salary (brutto): from 4.500 EUR/month. Base salary will depend on seniority of the final candidate. Yearly performance bonuses.

Príjemcovia: osobné údaje uchádzačov o zamestnanie sa neposkytujú mimo prevádzkovateľa 
Prenos do 3. krajiny: prevádzkovateľ nezamýšľa uskutočniť prenos údajov uchádzačov o zamestnanie do 3. krajiny/medzinárodnej organizácie. 
Práva dotknutej osoby: právo na prístup k osobným údajom, právo na opravu, právo na vymazanie, právo na obmedzenie spracúvania, právo namietať proti spracúvaniu, právo na prenosnosť údajov a právo podať sťažnosť dozornému orgánu, a to v rozsahu podľa čl. 15 a nasl. Nariadenia GDPR.
Poskytnutie bežných osobných údajov formou zaslania životopisu a žiadosti o zamestnanie je predpokladom, aby sa prevádzkovateľ dozvedel o tom, že dotknutá osoba sa u neho uchádza o zamestnanie.
V súvislosti so spracúvaním osobných údajov uchádzača o zamestnanie neexistuje automatizované rozhodovanie a profilovanie.
