Company Description

The Consumer Collecting Specialist is responsible for assisting in the management of the Student Marketeer program nationally, which aims to grow our user base and strengthen brand love among our target group. The Consumer Collecting Specialist recruits, leads & retains a casual workforce of energetic and passionate brand ambassadors together with the Field Marketing Specialists. This includes coaching our Student Marketeers out in the field on how to ensure quality consumer & customer interactions. They are responsible for managing large national projects from start to finish, integration of impactful sales support programs, working cross functionally on new ways to excite our consumers and most importantly are well connected to changing generational trends and maintaining & growing our presence on university campus. 

Job Description

 Lead Exceptional Execution of the Student Marketing Program

Guide and support Student Marketeers to drive Red Bull trial, increase brand awareness, foster a positive product and brand perception with consumers.

Support Student Marketeers with clear expectations, resources, and guidelines for achieving best practice.

Implement an innovative program of exciting brand activity such as events, hacks & campaigns that will maintain Red Bull as a credible and relevant brand for students, protect against competition and win students as loyal Red Bull consumers.

Create & deliver a robust plan to drive physical availability on and around campuses by working closely with sales teams and equipping Student Marketeers with appropriate training.

Implement the national in-direct sampling plan. Work with brands and partners to successfully drive trial of the product and opportunities to drive distribution.

Work closely with all marketing and sales teams to ensure the business priorities are reflected across the program, including all brand campaigns and product launches.

Identify, develop & maintain a strong network of national opinion leaders and influencers to support in the program objectives.

People Development & Leadership

Act as a role model and display the Red Bull values having a consistent motivating and inspiring tone of voice.

Implement and uphold the global recruitment, on-boarding and training modules, working closely with HR for local compliance.

Spend time in the field with Student Marketeers coaching & giving top notch feedback which is actionable & development focused.

Support, train and motivate to optimize the potential of achieving high performing individuals and teams.

Look how to improve effectiveness of recruitment campaigns by identifying new digital spaces & social media initiatives to attract the best candidates.

Strategic Development of the Program & Marketing Innovation

Assist in the development of an innovative and relevant business plan which complements the marketing priorities of the country, while considering the opportunities & needs of university students and key cities.

Collaborate with marketing specialists at HQ & comparable markets to gain relevant project learnings & ideas.

Steer the direction of the program throughout the year by reviewing data and insights on a regular basis. Regularly assess and analyze the programs, identifying opportunities to improve processes and excite consumers and students.

Constantly search for the opportunities to improve the targeting of sampling new & infrequent users and the mission planning process.

Work on plans that will sustain or increase % of awareness and brand image amongst students as well as improve student coverage & people reached on university campuses managed by Red Bull University.

Invite & empower Student Marketeers to come up with innovative ideas. 

General Program Management

Work closely with the operations team to manage branded fleet, Student Marketeer collection & tools to ensure a premium brand image.

Lead & encourage great planning & reporting within RBU as well as maintain your own top-notch community management.

Regularly update international counterparts with best practice examples and national program updates.

Regularly review the environmental impact of the program working and develop new initiatives to keep it to a minimum.  

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in leading events & marketing activities.

Valid drivers license

Experience in managing people and teams.

Preferably has been a part of and was a stand-out Student Marketeer.

Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

An entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’.

Solid analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from data & consumer insights.

Event & Project Management skills including budget management.

Natural role model and ability to command a room.
