Company Description

Reporting to the VP, Non-Commercial, you will lead our strategy and projects within the main call points, through a direct and indirect team into the Vending channel. You will be the owner of all business-related activities and targets at national and market levels. You will collaborate with multiple teams (sales, distribution, marketing, finance, operations, and legal) at Headquarters (HQ) and regional levels to ensure that goals of these customers are achieved. Responsibilities include: own budgets and trade results (Distribution, Price, Promotion, and Presence) at the national and regional levels; develop productive business relationships with senior management within the channel; and guide best practices that exceed our goals, direct and indirect team leadership.

Job Description

BUSINESS PLANNING AND EXECUTION

Implement short and long-term strategies and activities consistent with Red Bull North America (RBNA) goals and standards.

Ensure Vending strategy is cascaded throughout RBNA.

Allocate resources where the investment has the highest return with important customers.

Guide the business planning and budget process for the assigned businesses.

Engage the senior executive levels at all Vending call points and the field-based personnel; align Red Bull strategic goals with that of the customer

IMPLEMENT RED BULL STANDARDS

Distribution - Implement distribution on priority packages consistent with RBNA recommendations and goals for each operator. Ensure all operator account schematics reflect Red Bull standards relative to flow, package mix, Fair Space Index, and Strike Zone.

Price - Sell Red Bull's optimum pricing architecture by using best practices and available tools. Customize presentations to appeal to customer's needs and fulfill mutual goals. Secure pricing and promotional programs that align with Red Bull internal guidance documents.

Promotion - Implement annual promotion schedule following RBNA goals and customer volume/share goals. Creatively sell Red Bull standards and price points in a way that resonates with the customer's needs. Ensure all promotions are accompanied by Point of Sale (POS) and incremental displays.

Presence - Customize approaches to achieve account goals while driving permanent presence. Evaluate Return on investment before recommending specific POS or customized solutions. Implement programs following RBNA guidelines.

CHANNEL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT AND PLANNING

Construct annual Customer Marketing Agreements and manage associated funds for operator overall.

Lead our priorities, goals, and results across Customer Profitability Management (CPM) platform as it relates to all Key Account input for the channel (volume and spend)

Track and evaluate Trade Investments to ensure highest return on investment.

Guide post-promotion analysis following all programs to evaluate promotional effectiveness and display execution.

Thoroughly analyze customers' sales to define priorities and focus for the team at both the national and BU levels.

FIELD PARTNERSHIP AND EXECUTION MANAGEMENT

Establish wiring model with specific Red Bull partners that manage the Vending channel business.

Establish necessary tools and business review templates to ensure data consistency across RBNA

Gather quarterly updates from marketing about the latest achievements/highlights and shares with Key Operators HQ teams, and BU personnel

Use the input for marketing and finance experts to develop plans and conceptual sell to the channel

Coach broader account team to ensure successful partnerships, programs, important retail relationships, and collaborative relationships with Red Bull & Distributor Partners (DP) field personnel in each BU.

LEADERSHIP, COACHING, DEVELOPMENT

Assist National and Regional Sales Managers to develop successful programs.

Lead team to develop thought-leading programs and insights that impact national strategy.

Qualifications

8+ years Sales and Key Account experience

Experience managing Vending channel business

Experience using internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, CPM, Sales Data)

Negotiation experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Must be fluent in English, additional languages an advantage
