They are looking for a Manager, procurement to join their team.

Responsible for all color and make-up packaging categories across all brands (Shiseido, NARS, Bare Escentuals, etc.) and product lines (color cosmetics, skin care, fragrance, etc.). 

Directly responsible to manage a spend of one or more categories  

Manage the procurement categories for Compacts, Lipstick, Lip Gloss, Mascara, Brushes, and others. Support regionalization efforts by indirectly leading and influencing the plastic spend of other business entities.

Execute current implemented strategies and lead new category/supplier segmentation work for their category. Work in partnership with Package Development and Package Engineering on new innovations while maintaining lowest cost and increase value.

Support of procurement best practices to achieve a top tier company.

Drive ownership and accountability for service, cost and cash throughout all levels of the procurement group.

· 4-year academic degree, MBA a plus

· Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience operating in a direct materials manufacturing procurement role, ideally in cosmetics or consumer goods industry.

· Competent user of computerized IT systems – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other associated scheduling, forecasting software packages

· 3-5 years of experience working within a procurement tool (SAP, ERP etc) environment at an advanced level

· Travel as needed to visit suppliers, resolve issues etc for new launches and ongoing business.
