Our client is a leading international business that focuses on electronic payments. Their net of self-service kiosks allow users to pay different services and buy airtime online 24/7. They are looking for a Commercial Director to start their team in Nairobi, Kenya.

Reports directly to HQ (Moscow, Russia)

The Role:

The successful candidate needs to have extensive experience in electronic payments, be a self - starter who will work with current and potential partners on a daily basis, with accountability for leading business development and working with existing clients to grow their business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement commercial strategies in order to accelerate Company’s growth
• Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plan
• Increase the quantity of Company’s points of sales
• Expand the range of services that Company offers
• Collaborate with and coordinate diverse teams

• Degree in marketing or any business related field, Masters is an added advantage
• · Experience in electronic payments, e-commerce is required
• · International experience is desirable.
• The successful candidate should have proven experience in development of payment agency.
• Business , which was obtained from previous placements at payment systems companies, banks or telecom service providers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and focus on providing excellent customer service, excellent presentation skills for spoken and written communication.
• Result driven and to be able to coordinate teamwork to achieve results in the given time frames.
• Personal network in Communication, IT, and electronic payments areas is desirable.
• Experience in sales in electronic payments, banks or telecom.
• Experience as commercial director or other relevant role is a strong plus.
• Technical background is a plus.
• References from previous employers are required.
