The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, managing resources, improving operational processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across all operational functions except business development and sales.
Job Description
Operational Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and implement operational strategies to support the company's growth
and objectives.
Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of
excellence and continuous improvement.
2.Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
and effectiveness.
Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance and drive decision-making.
3.Resource Management:
Oversee resource allocation, including staffing, equipment, and materials, to
ensure optimal utilization.
Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts and
ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
4.Logistics & Supply Chain:
Manage logistics and supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective
delivery of products.
Optimize inventory management practices to minimize costs and maximize
efficiency.
5.Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company
policies.
Identify and mitigate operational risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
6.Facility Management:
Oversee the maintenance and management of company facilities, ensuring a safe
and productive work environment.
Coordinate with facility management teams to address any operational issues.
7.Customer Service & Support:
In close collaboration with the sales manager, ensure high levels of customer
satisfaction by overseeing customer service operations and addressing any issues.
Implement customer feedback mechanisms to drive improvements in service
delivery.
8.Budgeting & Financial Management:
Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost control and financial
accountability.
In close collaboration with the finance manager, monitor and report on operational
performance against budget and financial targets.
9.Team Development & Performance Management:
Recruit, train, and develop operations staff, fostering a collaborative and high-
performing team environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to team
members.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Master’s degree preferred.
∙Proven 3+ years’ experience in an operations management role, preferably within the
renewable energy or manufacturing industry.
∙Strong leadership and team management skills.
∙Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∙Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
∙Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
∙Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
∙Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
