Rattan Direct is looking for an outgoing and dynamic Supply Chain Manager. In this position,

Key Responsibilities: 

1.Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives aligned with 

organizational goals, ensuring optimal procurement, production, and distribution strategies. 

2.Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and 

manage supplier performance to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of goods. 

3.Inventory Optimization: Analyse inventory levels, demand forecasts, and lead efforts to 

optimize inventory management, minimizing excess or obsolete stock while ensuring sufficient 

supply. 

4.Logistics Management: Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to 

streamline logistics operations, reduce lead times, and optimize costs. 

5.Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks within the supply chain, and lead 

process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase 

customer satisfaction. 

6.Risk Management: Anticipate and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, 

and quality issues, by implementing robust risk management strategies and contingency plans. 

7.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, 

finance, and manufacturing to align supply chain strategies with business objectives and 

customer demand. 

8.Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate 

supply chain performance, analyse trends, and implement corrective actions as needed. 

∙Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related 

field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications can be advantageous. 

∙Proven experience of 5 years in supply chain management, with a track record of implementing 

successful supply chain strategies. 

∙Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SAP, or other ERP 

systems. 

∙Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage teams and collaborate effectively with 

various stakeholders. 

∙Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive process improvements and optimize 

supply chain operations. 

∙Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs. 

∙Knowledge of international trade regulations, logistics, and inventory management best 

practices.
