Our client is an international company headquartered in Lithuania looking to hire locally. The company deals with building and investing in projects inspired by technology, but also is working on implementation of the expertise and know-how strategies for overall growth of the business. They are looking to hire a Country Manager to be based in Kenya who will work on their Kenyan portfolio.

Job Description:

  • Examine trade area for new business opportunities
    - Organize process of company legal set-up
    - Daily Operations: ensure the daily functioning of main departments
    - Staffing: to interview, hire, and train new employees.
    - Set Goals: setting both short and long-term goals and strategy
    - Liaising: communication with the company's CEO and convey the necessary
    information to the departments
    - Administration: complete administrative work and correspond with other departments.
    - Delegation: delegate tasks according to the department’s needs.
    - Motivate: motivate staff and create an environment where employees thrive.
    - Training: constantly taking care of employees skills and qualification improvement
    - Evaluation: To encourage satisfactory work, managers evaluate data and employee
    performance

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent command of English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to adapt and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective organizational and communication skills
  • at least 5 - 6 years experience in senior management and business development
  • Prior experience as a country manager is preferred.
