Our Client is an International school in Djibouti.They are seeking to recruit a competent Curriculum Director . Applicants must have experience working as a Curriculum director/ principal or a HOD in an international school .

Kenyan Nationals are encouraged to apply.

Key duties and Responsibilities:

· Participate in or facilitate curriculum review committees.

· Select textbooks and other instructional materials for district wide implementation.

· Set expectations for which parts of the curriculum must be covered within the school year.

· Stay informed of trends in instructional methods and educational technology.

· Assist teachers in incorporating new technology into their lessons.

· Provide feedback to teachers based on individual observation and student performance data.

· Use data to monitor district performance in meeting externally imposed standards.

· Write grant proposals related to curriculum and instructional matters.

Qualifications:

· Holder of degree or Diploma in Education  or equivalent qualification

· Must have a proven track record in educational leadership including school administration, classroom instruction, lesson plans, pupil assessment and staff development.

· Experience as a school principal for at least 3 years in a reputable institution.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that enables open communication with parents, teachers and learners.

· A self-motivated, energetic person who enjoys working in a busy and dynamic working environment.

· The flexibility to learn and adapt to new cultures.

· Demonstrates ability to think and act critically, creatively and independently.

· Computer proficiency in Microsoft packages

Salaries and Benefits :

· Salaries will be at par with the industry standards and a fully furnished housing will be provided along transportation.

· Return annual tickets will be given every year for the home country.
