Our client is Uganda’s largest printed paper-products solutions provider. They are looking for a production manager to join their team in Uganda.

Job Duties:

• · Expected to organize smooth flow of work, minimizing production bottlenecks and
• improving productivity.
• · Oversee production quality control and plant maintenance, Raw Material Planning, wastage control
• · Meeting all production targets with optimum material planning, machine capacity utilization and manpower performance.
• · Should lead a cross functional team and be a team player.
• · Highly motivated and high level of initiative; inspires confidence to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives.
• · Establish and direct plant policies and procedures.
• · Work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitability.
• · Plan and coordinate the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment related to the plant (Converting Machines, Generators, Compressors, Forklifts)

• · Degree / Diploma in Printing / Packaging with minimum 6-8 years’ experience in a similar industry, having worked on high end European machineries Flexo Label printing
• · Must have production working experience on narrow web, offset web, sheet fed, label printing and personalization machine.
• · Experience of Flexo / offset printing and finishing machines.
• · Shall be responsible for the commercial printing work like Text Books, Posters, Calendars, Diaries, Flexo labels & packaging and security printing products like cheque books, mobile airtime scratch card, pin mailers, label production etc.
• · ERP Knowledge: SAP working knowledge will be given preference.
• · Communication Skill : Must be fluent in English and very good communication skill.
• · Ability to Train team.
