Our client is a specialist in cement manufacturing with a state-of-the-art fully integrated cement plant, with a captive 10MW thermal power plant. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Tanzania. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Tanzania.

Responsibility for Mechanical Engineer:

1. He will be responsible to provide technical guidance and assistance to the subordinates to upkeep the following mechanical equipment used in a modern Dry process cement manufacturing unit:

• Crusher
• Stacker and Reclaimer
• Vertical Roller mill & Ball mill.
• Electronic Packing machine
• Silo extraction & kiln feeding system.
• All air pollution equipments.
• Belt bucket Elevators.
• Kiln gear box & girth gear system.
• Electro Static Precipitators.
• Grate Coolers.
• Deep Bucket Conveyors.
• Process fans.
• Blowers and compressors

2. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Planning.

3. Implementation of computerized Maintenance Management System.

4. Spare parts planning.

5. On job training to the subordinates.

6. Documentation and Record keeping of Quality Management System.

Qualification and Experience for Mechanical Engineer:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 5 years experience in a modern cement manufacturing unit OR
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 to 3 years experience in a modern cement manufacturing unit.
