Job Description

The Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager in running the office and is responsible for the office when the Branch Manager is not present.

Qualifications

Essential Functions:

  • Attends weekly Realty ONE Group office meeting
  • Assists in maintaining a steady and consistent workflow, insuring all transactions are processed and closed on time and correctly
  • Motivating and praising, delivering constructive criticism or discipline to subordinates in accordance with the employee handbook, addressing employee issues promptly
  • Works under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, training new employees, organizing people, organizing projects and schedules on an ongoing basis
  • Promotes a positive attitude and atmosphere, instilling "Teamwork" and personal growth throughout the branch
  • Assists in addressing and resolving customer issues, applying fast and exemplary judgment in the utmost professional manner, advising management of unresolved issues and/or complaints
  • Assists in business development, PR and marketing initiated each month
  • Coordinates with Realty ONE Group managers any classes needed
  • Develops and maintains a close working relationship with ROG offices, local Title Reps & EPiQ Lending Loan Officers
  • Assists in supervising office staff compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for supervising, training and delegating work to subordinates
  • Responsible for objective salary reviews and recommendations
  • Provide a safe, encouraging and positive environment for the employees
  • Be available and approachable for your staff at all times
  • Develops and maintains a good working relationship with management
  • Consistently provides and instill outstanding customer service skills in staff
  • Be observant and aware of office, customer and employee issues
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES

Experience/Training/Education:

Required:

  • Some college coursework
  • Active AZ Broker license
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the real estate industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to foster strong customer and vendor relationships
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid AZ driver’s license
  • Valid automobile insurance coverage 

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, or a related field
  • Previous working experience as a Branch Manager

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organization skills with an attention to detail
  • Willingness to “roll up the sleeves” and do what it takes to get the job done
  • Works well on a team and collaborates with others
  • Finger dexterity to operate standard office equipment including telephones, calculators, copiers, and facsimile equipment
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
  • Ability to effectively manage tasks with minimal supervision
  • Must be diligent and persistent in follow-up and completion
  • Capable of multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines
  • Able to function in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows/Mac operating system-experience
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Create recruiting email and social media marketing
  • Ability to lead by example and treat all subordinates professionally
  • Above proficiency in all duties of an Escrow Officer
  • Exhibit strong management skills, including personnel, marketing, office policies, procedures, rules, and full knowledge of regulatory agencies governing the company

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

The Assistant Branch Manager must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and sit for various lengths of time. They must be able to lift and carry items up to 20 lbs. A clear speaking voice is necessary along with finger dexterity.

This is primarily a sedentary office classification and employees work in an office with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.

Cognitive Demands:

The Assistant Branch Manager must be able to multi-task various projects at once and work well under tight deadlines with a friendly, professional, and customer-centric demeanor. The Assistant Branch Manager must display high moral ethics and display the capacity to lead through strategic thinking and problem solving/analysis.
