Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Branch Manager is the leader of the office, managing all functions of the day-to-day operations of the branch including the entire escrow process.

Essential Functions:

  • Attend quarterly manager meetings
  • Maintain a steady and consistent workflow, insuring all transactions are processed and closed on time and correctly
  • Audit escrow files and review work of escrow team
  • Accurately prepare documents such as escrow instructions, amendments, and closing documents including transfer deeds
  • Provide clients with regular updates on all open files
  • Audits files and sets up files for disbursement by verifying funds in escrow, setting up checks and wires for immediate disbursement upon closing
  • Motivating and praising, delivering constructive criticism or discipline to subordinates in accordance with the employee handbook, addressing employee issues promptly
  • Work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, training new employees, organizing people, organizing projects and schedules on an ongoing basis
  • Promote a positive attitude and atmosphere, instilling "Teamwork" and personal growth throughout the branch
  • Address and resolve customer issues, applying fast and exemplary judgment in the utmost professional manner, advising management of unresolved issues and/or complaints
  • Business development, PR and marketing initiated each month
  • Coordinate with Realty ONE Group manager any classes needed
  • Develop and maintain a close working relationship with ROG offices, local Title Reps & Movement Mortgage Loan Officers
  • Supervise office staff compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Responsible for supervising, training and delegating work to subordinates
  • Responsible for objective salary reviews and recommendations
  • Provide a safe, encouraging and positive environment for the employees
  • Be available and approachable for your staff at all times
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with management
  • Consistently provide and instill outstanding customer service skills in staff
  • Be observant and aware of office, customer and employee issues
  • Productivity: a minimum of $20,000 per Escrow Officer, $10,000 per Assistant, and $5,000 per Office Administrator/Processor
  • Capture Percentage: The Branch Manager/Managing Broker is responsible to ensure that the branch continues to increase their capture rate to be greater than it is at the time of hire or the overall company average, whichever is greater
  • Understands, displays, and embraces the company’s “coolture”

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Escrow Officer
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to foster strong customer and vendor relationships
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Streamline
  • Productivity: a minimum of $20,000 per Escrow Officer, $10,000 per Assistant, and $5,000 per Office Administrator/Processor
