Job Description
Pfizer, one of the world’s most successful pharmaceutical companies, is actively seeking a talented SPR Scientist who will work closely with the SPR group lead to establish priorities and further develop automation capabilities in their expanding team in Cambridge, MA.

KEY FEATURES
- • You will use an automated liquid handler to prepare samples and conduct experiments with a variety of biosensor instruments.
- • Will work closely with the SPR group lead to establish priorities and further develop automation capabilities.
- • The candidate should be eager to meet aggressive timelines, multi-task experiments, and advance biotherapeutic discovery.
- • Utilize an automated liquid handler and manage a variety of automated biosensor instruments for the characterization of protein-protein interactions
- • Organize, in parallel, samples for multiple automated biosensor instruments
- • Collaborate closely with biosensor group members to maximize instrument throughput and advance the biotherapeutic portfolio
- • Combine Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic programming to develop, optimize, and implement automated liquid handler assays that improve capabilities, efficiency, and productivity
Qualifications
- • BA, BS in Biochemistry, Biology, or related field
- • 1-2+ years of industry, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical experience
- • Experience in SPR, Octet, high throughput, automated liquid handling, analytical assays, biotherapeutics, or antibodies
