Legal Secretary – Dispute Resolution

Job Description

Our Client, is one of the leading law firms within the South-East, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy Dispute Resolution team.

Key attributes, qualities and experience required:

·An experienced Legal Secretary

·Have experience working within Dispute Resolution/Litigation

·A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel would be useful but not essential

·Friendly but efficient telephone manner

·Fast accurate typing (60+ words) with attention to detail

·Ability to work as part of a team

·Flexible attitude

Key responsibilities:

·Electronic diary management, booking rooms and arranging meetings

·Using digital transcription system, Bighand, to create letters, emails and documents

·Using a case management system for client files

·Scanning in and time recording of incoming post and emails

·Maintaining orderly files - keeping filing up to date

·Prepare Court/Counsel bundles as required

·Photocopying of documents

·Handling incoming telephone calls in an efficient and courteous manner

·Dealing with queries where possible and passing on in a timely manner
