We are looking for a Google Tag Manager Specialist and the role reports to the Head of Visualisation & Analytics.
As the Google Tag Manager Specialist you will implement and manage user behaviour tracking across our sites, collaborating with developers for accurate data layer integration, and working with our insights and marketing teams to capture data requirements.

Key Responsibilities
As the Google Tag Manager Specialist you will troubleshoot, conduct testing to ensure tag accuracy is followed, and assist the Web Analytics Tech Lead in creating SQL queries for reporting.
Importantly, you will monitor tag performance, optimise configurations and maintain documentation for all setups and integrations.
Other responsibilities include:
- Identify opportunities to improve tracking efficiency and optimise tag configurations for site speed
- Stay updated with new Google Tag Manager features, best practices, and industry trends
- Create and manage GTM governance process
Qualifications
The Ideal candidate
You will have experience working with Google Tag Manager 360 and be proficient in using Google Tag Manager’s interface, triggers, variables, versions and tags.
You will have proven experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementation and its ongoing management.
You will demonstrate an analytical mindset, coupled with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues. Experience with analytics platforms such as Amplitude or Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for event tracking is beneficial but not essential.
Also if you do have your GTM certification already that’s fantastic! If not, not to worry, because we would love to support you in obtaining this!
Any additional certifications in digital marketing or analytics are also a bonus but required.
