We are looking for our Senior Creative Designer to start with us on a 12 month maternity cover contract in January 2025, and this can be fully remote or a hybrid working position from our Canary Wharf hub. We are flexible to work around your needs and preferences!

Job Description
As our Creative Designer, you'll set the standard for creativity by leading key projects to an agency-level quality. Collaborate with management to plan, organise, and execute all tasks efficiently. You'll engage with teams across our entire Commercial operation, including National & Regional Customer Marketing, Events, and Editorial teams. This role offers a fun and diverse experience, where your creative passion can truly shine.
Other responsibilities include:
- Fully interpret briefs and achieve the right creative result.
- Provide colleagues with assistance required to deliver workload.
- Clear reporting to the senior management team.
- Use all agreed programs, fonts, systems & processes.
- Effectively work towards deadlines, ensuring all work is accurate and error free.
- All design & layout work is of a consistently high standard, fit for purpose taking into account the digital and print production processes.
- All work is distributed to the vendor in the correct format using the agreed delivery mechanism.
- Have good relations with sales staff, Project Managers and stakeholders across other departments.
Qualifications
- We are looking for a multimedia designer, you will be passionate and creative, with the ability to work across a large variety of mediums both nationally and regionally.
- You will have demonstrable experience of working within a commercial creative studio.
- Your graphic design skills will be first class, and you will be proficient in the use of all Adobe Creative Suite software.
- Proficiency in either Premier Pro/After Effects is essential.
- Your portfolio will provide evidence of consistently high quality design and layout skills. You will possess good knowledge of current design trends and demonstration of contemporary design styles and techniques across all creative work.
- We are looking for excellent typographical skills.
- You will have a firm grasp of deadlines, with the ability to deliver what is required to a high standard, within studio processes.
- We are looking for an individual who is adaptable, being able to respond positively and quickly to unexpected business demands and taking on board new approaches, tasks, systems, working practices and additional responsibilities as required.
