Are you a successful salesperson with a knack for developing new business in the programmatic advertising world?

Do you have experience selling advanced programmatic solutions to agency buyers and trading desks? 

You'll be a key player in a small, passionate team, to help influence the direction of our cutting-edge Mantis products. Utilising your contacts with agency programmatic buyers to drive success and expand our reach. Taking ownership of your targets and shine by selling our contextual advertising packages.

This position is a mixture of home-based and hub presence (London/Canary Wharf).

Mantis partners with digital publishers as an intelligent alternative to traditional keyword blocking, and creates highly accurate contextual targeting for premium publishers to sell their inventory without the use of personal data.

Reach is home to the UK and Ireland’s most iconic digital platforms, magazines and newspapers.

Job Description

For this opportunity, we are seeking a proven, strategically minded individual with a deep understanding of the advertising ecosystem and passion for the latest emerging technologies.

  • Responsible for Mantis Data revenue
  • Lead brand and agency relationships, negotiate and close deals with senior stakeholders focused on selling contextual packages containing Reach inventory as well as other premium publisher inventory.
  • Informing the direction of new Mantis products, in accordance with an ever-changing advertising ecosystem.
  • Define the growth strategy for your portfolio with clear guidance on key client and agency stakeholders, client/opportunity prioritisation
  • Achieve personal quarterly/annual revenue and new business targets, as agreed with the Managing Director
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting insight and weekly updates to the wider team

Qualifications

The ideal candidate

  • 5-10 Years of Ad Tech experience within a client-facing and proactive sales position
  • Highly curious, constantly enhancing your industry knowledge and competitive insight to help you close business and generate significant revenue
  • You are the ultimate team player and have proven experience working cross functionally and collaboratively across internal teams to build business and sales activity
  • An exceptional communicator and confident presenter across all real and virtual formats 
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically to identify a brand’s key business objectives and challenges, translating and building into compelling value propositions
  • Solid troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-departmentally.
  • You are able to handle multiple priorities and are used to working in a small team and filling many roles as needed.
  • You have rigorous attention to detail, drive for excellence, and a positive can-do approach.
  • You are a resourceful self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced team environment.
