Job Description

As our Treasury Manager, you'll serve as the subject matter expert in Treasury, taking ownership of all front and back office functions.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing and updating our company Treasury Policy & Strategy, implementing enhanced controls and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

You'll also manage daily cash position reporting, weekly cash forecast reporting, and prepare short and long-term funding plans to optimise our financial resources.

Reporting directly to the Head of Tax & Treasury, you'll be the first point of contact for the business on Treasury and banking matters. You'll manage banking relationships, including cash balances, credit facilities, and financing agreements, while also overseeing the administration of banking platforms and ensuring compliance with bank mandates.

Your role will involve liaising with internal stakeholders, external financial institutions, and investment advisors to provide timely data, decision support, and advice.

Collaboration will be key as you work closely with the wider finance department and business units to implement payment solutions and adhere to PCI Security Standards. You'll also serve as the first point of contact for auditors for Year End and Half Year reporting on Cash and Treasury controls, ensuring compliance and transparency in our financial operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage financial risks, with experience in a large company.
  • Ability to manage cash flow and forecasting to ensure liquidity for the company's financial obligations.
  • Expertise in investing the company's excess cash into profitable and safe investment vehicles.
  • Ability to perform risk assessment for financial markets, such as currency fluctuations, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to set priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in all aspects of financial reporting.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience in using treasury management systems.
  • Problem-solving & decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field.
  • Previous experience in treasury or a related financial function.
  • Strong experience in treasury risk management, including interest rate, currency, and liquidity risk management.
  • Experience in managing banking relationships and credit agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of financial instruments and money market instruments.
  • Experience in using treasury management systems.
  • Experience in developing and implementing treasury policies & procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
