Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you’ll work closely with Development and QA Leads to take delivery ownership of the requirements set out by the Product Managers. You’ll help to lead a cross-functional team of engineers supporting the team in the adoption of agile practices, planning software projects and overall making everything run smoothly.

Importantly, we recognise that this may be the first step in your career as a Delivery Manager, so you will receive all the guidance and support you need to help you learn and grow in the role!

Role Location

This role can be based remotely from home, and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.

Job Description

As a Junior Delivery Manager you will be responsible for the team management of one or more Agile software teams - but don't worry this isn't a line management role and you will be well supported to ensure you and the team succeed!

You will be responsible for fostering a great culture by being a strong role model and demonstrating great people leadership. You will have a continuous improvement mindset and be constantly looking for opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who understands how engineering works. You may be a recent engineering graduate, or someone returning to the Tech industry after a period away or even someone looking for a change in career focus. 

Previous experience of delivering software projects using Agile methodologies would be beneficial but isn't a requirement.

Importantly you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to communicate effectively - capable of inspiring collaboration between teams, influence and negotiating when required
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders to resolve problems as they emerge and ensure successful project outcomes. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
  • A self-starter with a can-do, will-do attitude 
  • Passionate about delivering for our loyal customers
