Ravinia, North America's oldest music festival, stands today as its most musically diverse, presenting over 140 different events throughout the summer. These concerts run the gambit from Yo-Yo Ma to John Legend to the annual summer residency of the nation's finest orchestra, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

The 36-acre park is nestled in a gently wooded area that makes it an enchanting place to experience music. Guests can bring their own picnics or eat at one of the park restaurants.

As a Sales Associate, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the daily sales and customer relations of one on-site chair rental operation.

Responsibilities

• Ring up sales using Counterpoint point-of-sale system and accept cash, gift card or credit card payment

• Stock, clean and organize chairs and tables for concert rental

• Carry and set up chairs and tables for parties, groups and individuals as needed

• Collect un-returned chairs and tables

• Merchandise and restock inventory for Chair Rental location via one central warehouse

• Clean storage tent and sales tent on a daily basis

• Set excellent customer service example for all staff

• Sell light up novelties on busy nights

Additional responsibilities as needed

Required Education & Skills

• High School or equivalent work experience

• Excellent customer service

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to multi-task and work in teams or independently

• Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs

Preferred Education & Skills

• Experience in retail environment preferred, including working knowledge of a cash register
