Job Description
The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist with client correspondence, customer service and on-site event management throughout the summer concert season. Work on the data base, record keeping systems, rental spaces and ticketing associated with groups of 10 patrons or more.
Principal Job Duties
Coordinate correspondence with catering company for client lead and booking information in system
Provide customer service when necessary both in advance and during concerts
Set up event spaces and coordinate all aspects of events during concerts
Work with food service establishment
Assists Group Sales team by coordinating site tours for existing and prospective clients and coordinate vendor logistics
Further develop the already existing group sales data base
Update and manage record keeping system to compliment data base. Book and process ticket and event reservations for new and existing clients
Manage paperwork and payments associated with rental and ticket clients, create and maintain entries in the SRO ticketing and database systems
Assist with client correspondence through phone, email and direct mail
Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Group Sales and Dining Services
Key Responsibilities
Ability to work extended hours outdoors during the summer season is required, must be available evenings and weekends
Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
Excellent judgment and professionalism in dealing with a variety of publics
Computer literacy required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office essential
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have strong ability to multi task. A background in hospitality or entertainment industry and ticketing is a plus. Strong customer service skills are essential. Data base management skills are an asset.
