WAREHOUSE DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR

Ratio Beerworks is an emerging brewery in the heart of Denver’s River North Art District and we are seeking a Warehouse Distribution Coordinator to help grow and manage our operational logistics as we continue to enter new markets.

As one of Colorado’s largest self-distributed breweries, the Warehouse Distribution Coordinator position will require​ high levels of stewardship in relation to inventory management, reporting, managing distribution and delivery, and supporting Sales and Marketing.

Key responsibilities for this role involve helping to maintain the brewery’s product inventory, tracking and scheduling keg deliveries for Ratio’s customer accounts, as well as training delivery drivers, maintaining volume tracking and reporting and managing a line cleaning schedule.

This candidate must be highly detail-oriented, extremely organized, and be a great communicator. We’re also seeking a great team player who loves working with a small, but growing team to build a successful business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Distribution and Warehouse:

    • Delivery Prep/ Delivery Drivers
    • Recruit/interview/hire/manage delivery drivers
    • Train delivery drivers to deliver product and line clean
    • Schedule drivers for the week
    • Communicate updates with drivers/reps/brewers
    • Prepare invoices/collars/routes/pick-lists for drivers daily

Line Cleaning Schedule

    • Track/manage line cleaning/add new static accounts
    • Assist with one-off line cleaning when needed
    • Schedule additional line clean or urgent line cleans

Van Prep

    • Track Van Damage/Repairs/Oil Changes etc.. for Company Delivery Vehicles
    • Check for repairs/Schedule & take van for repairs

Inventory:

  • Inventory management at brewery and offsite storage
  • Update inventory changes
  • Check and edit invoices to ensure correct “Site”/Post invoices”
  • Ensure drivers are scanning/pulling correct kegs
  • Pull pick-lists, track batch #s, and communicate with offsite storage to ensure FIFO
  • Approve keg returns and apply credits to correct invoices
  • Track kegs at accounts and create a schedule for keg pick-ups
  • Track sixtel inventory and communicate with brewers about transfer/sixtel needs
  • Track collar/tap-handle/sticker Inventory – Negotiate prices and reorder when low
  • Coordinate shuttling and inventory rotation with the brewery

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

A strategic thinker who can quickly assess a situation, opportunity or challenge, create a plan and help execute by digging in with the rest of the team to do the work:

  • 2-3 years of development and hands-on implementation of high-level distribution and sales logistics strategies
  • Beverage/Alcohol industry experience or within a similar environment.
  • Exhibit flexibility, creativity, and resourcefulness with sound business acumen to create a positive, collaborative culture within the team, the brewery and our markets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple priorities at one time, to deliver results on time and within budget
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

A/P

  • Process, enter and properly code vendor invoices for multiple accounts
  • Audit and verifies expense reports
  • Update and maintain vendor database
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Assist in 1099 preparation
