Job Description
THE ROLE
As Front End Developer, you will play a collaborative role in small Agile SCRUM teams, working to implement new web and mobile page designs, client side functionality and integration with backend services. You will deliver best-in-class front-end code across a broad array of interactive web and mobile projects. You will be hands on with our technology and working towards making our product the best that it can be, by solving the challenges that we face.
ABOUT YOU
You will have solid experience in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. You’ll have a good working knowledge of MVC PHP frameworks (preferably Symfony 2) and front end build technologies (SASS, etc.).
We’re looking for someone who will push for best practice and performance improvements across our website. You will be eager to keep up with the latest tech and happy to share your knowledge with the wider team. We love agile and we would really like our next colleague to have a similar experience of software development.
You’re a self -starter who is excited to learn and improve your skillset in the ever-evolving medium of the web. For you, identifying and fixing bugs is exciting and you understand that it comes part and parcel with the role. You understand Agile methodologies and instill best practices into the process.
Though not essential, we would be delighted if you had experience of working within a LAMP environment.
