Job Description

•    Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the plant's infrastructure, including buildings, equipment, and utilities.
•    Ensure all facilities are in compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
•    Manage vendor contracts for facility services such as housekeeping, landscaping, and waste management.
•    Implement and oversee security protocols to ensure the safety and security of the plant premises, employees, and assets.
•    Coordinate with the safety team to ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
•    Manage security personnel and conduct regular security audits.
•    Manage and improve employee facilities such as canteen, transportation, restrooms, and recreational areas.
•    Address employee grievances related to administrative issues and provide effective resolutions.
•    Organize and coordinate welfare activities, events, and programs for employee engagement and satisfaction.
•    Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to factory administration, labor laws, and safety standards.
•    Maintain records and documentation required for statutory audits and inspections.
•    Liaise with government authorities for licenses, permits, and any compliance-related matters.
•    Prepare and manage the administrative budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
•    Monitor and control administrative expenses, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
•    Oversee the selection and management of external service providers for facility management, security, and other administrative services.
•    Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to ensure quality services at competitive prices.
•    Monitor vendor performance and adherence to contract terms.
•    Collaborate with HR, Operations, Safety, and other departments to ensure seamless administrative support.
•    Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss and resolve administrative challenges impacting plant operations.
•    Develop and implement crisis management plans for emergencies such as fire, natural disasters, or security breaches.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in plant administration, facility management, or industrial administration.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various departments.
