Production Operational Support for Video supplemental services (VOD) for customers in the North America market. The candidate will deliver technical solutions and assist with information technology decisions and implementations in a Window Server operations environment running the IPTV platform. 

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for all Video on Demand Systems.
• Provides technical support for Sea Change VOD Systems
• Provides technical support for Sea Change Asset Flow Content Management System
• Provides technical support for Ericsson Open Stream VOD Systems
• Provides technical support for Ericsson Watchpoint Content Management System
• Provides technical support for Aspera
• Works closely with clients and other technical staff to identify and resolve issues or problems that impact the environment. 
• Consults with clients and other technical staff on implementations, maintenance issues, and recommends technical solutions. 
• Ability to be an effective team player, multitask between customers with different issues enthusiastically. 
• Responds to afterhours support calls.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with integration and support of VOD Content Management Systems
• Experience with integration and/or support of Sea Change VOD Systems
• Experience with integration and/or support of Ericsson Open Stream VOD Systems.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software to resolve VOD failures.
• Basic knowledge of networking components and services such as TCP/IP, UDP/IP, IGMP, CBR/VBR Streaming, HTTP protocols, DHCP, DNS and LAN/WAN technologies.
• Application and network communications troubleshooting with network tracing tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Self-motivated with good decision-making abilities.
• Strong logical and problem-solving.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ Years of Ad Insertion Experience
• Windows or Linux Administration Experience
• SQL/MS SQL Experience
• IPTV/VOD/CDN or Other Video Streaming Experience
• Invidi Targeted Ad Insertion Experience.
• Experience Monitoring Multiple platforms Via EMS/OSS
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with minimal supervision

Minimum requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Video Operations or Engineering experience in a CATV, IPTV or OTT streaming environment.
