Location: Pennington, NJ 
Job Description:   This role will support the Global Markets Data Governance team focusing on implementing both short term tactical solutions and larger long term strategic solutions on Data Quality and Controls across the Global Markets Organization. 

• Development of up-front business and data quality rules to increase overall value and use of markets data 
  
• Development of data-quality metrics and dashboard for depicting the health of data-quality within global markets 
  
• Development and refinement of data quality and sharing rules between Global Markets and Enterprise Lines of Business 
  
• Assist with the management of the process and resolve the data quality controls issues by working with application teams 
  
• Develop and maintain project materials/documentation – e.g., requirements documentation, functional/non-functional test plans, etc. 
  
• Analyze and define the process and visual workflow/web-screens to assist in capturing data-quality controls from the application teams and create detailed documentation for developers. 
  
• Work with technology to develop data quality metrics and applications 
  
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to define Test plans, perform required testing to ensure adherence to Requirements, help with Defect-related clarifications, and communication between Dev and QA 
  

Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of Global Markets businesses, products, and business processes, including trade lifecycle 
  
• Ability to learn data concepts 
  
• Prior working experience of data storage and data movement technologies, including messaging, RDBMS, ETL 
  
• Experience with data-analysis and data-modelling 
  
• In depth understanding of data-governance, data-quality control and data-management methodologies 
  
• Effective communication, interpersonal, leadership and relationship building skills 
  
• Strong ability to multitask 
  
• Ability to quickly and effectively react to changes in project/program scope, direction and responsibilities 
  
•  Ability to work within an environment with a variety of opinions and priorities and be able to get to a resolution and agreement 
  
• Motivated with the ability to work independently 
  
• Ability to think strategically and devise strategic plans 
  
• Ability to perform data analysis and/or use data analysis to drive opportunities, make decisions and drive business/data rules
