Job Description

We are currently seeking an Application Expert for our Electrical Consulting Division.

We are seeking a highly skilled Electric Utility Business Analyst who possesses a deep understanding of how engineering drawings are created, shared, and viewed across multiple departments within a utility company. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the entire project lifecycle, from the initial stages to completion, and will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various stakeholders involved in a project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with engineering teams to understand the creation process of engineering drawings and ensure alignment with project requirements.
  2. Develop and implement strategies for efficient sharing and viewing of engineering drawings across different departments, optimizing collaboration and communication.
  3. Analyze workflows and identify bottlenecks in the drawing sharing process, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  4. Act as a liaison between engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and accuracy of engineering drawings.
  5. Utilize analytical tools and software to track the progress of projects, identify risks, and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to engineering drawing processes in the electric utility sector.
  7. Provide training and guidance to team members on the proper procedures for handling engineering drawings and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a business analyst or project management role within the electric utility industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of engineering drawing standards, tools, and software used in utility projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams.

Compensation

  • Total Compensation (base salary + bonuses) Range: $110,000- $120,000
