Company Description

The ASCENT division of Rand Worldwide is a team consisting of learning content developers and technical writers creating training and informational documentation for users of engineering design software and related tools.  The role of Administrator – Learning Content Development plays a critical role in preparing and publishing eLearning assets to our online learning portal, ProductivityNOW, for client access. Note that this position is for a one-year term to cover a maternity leave.

Job Description

  • Publish and maintain eLearning content in the ProductivityNOW portal, ensuring timely and accurate content availability for client end-users.
  • Organize eLearning content into courses and learning paths as defined by the learning content developers and communicate to the Learning Management System (LMS) administrator for program deployment.
  • Continually monitor published eLearning content for quality and adherence to publishing standards.
  • Make minor edits to published eLearning content to address end-user feedback.
  • Coordinate with learning content developers and technical writers in a timely manner for major changes and work together to resolve.
  • Prior to releasing, ensure all assets are created within the approved branding and style guidelines.
  • Establish priorities independently based on workload and team deliverables.
  • Responsible for reporting weekly on content publishing status expiration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrator or team support role
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills and HTML knowledge required
  • Adobe FrameMaker and CSS a +
  • Critical thinker with strong problem solving and decision making ability
  • Ability to analyze information and make recommendations as appropriate
  • Detail oriented, organized, collaborative and adaptable to meet ever changing needs and priorities
