Job Description

We are looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join our utilities industry sales team. The position can be located anywhere in the Western US. This individual will play a pivotal role in enabling digital transformation solutions to mid-market and large utility companies. You must be high energy, self-motivated, competitive, adaptable, intellectually curious, with an aptitude and desire to formulate and lead enterprise level engagements and develop long term relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Target 30-40 electric, gas, and water utilities in the Western US.
  • Strategic solution selling and account planning with company leadership, business partners and our Professional Services team.
  • Developing high level relationships and promote long-term growth strategies in new and existing accounts.
  • Conduct needs analysis and discovery-based meetings with clients to create customized business solutions.
  • Identify client’s desired business outcomes and marshal IMAGINiT’s resources to provide solutions that enable those outcomes.
  • Consistently achieve quota attainment and gross profit targets
  • Increase IMAGINiT visibility in the utility sector by attending networking events, using social media, referrals, etc.
  • Continuous personal education and development to be a thought leader as the market moves to SAAS, cloud-based services and IOT.
  • Collaborating across IMAGINiT business enterprise to secure customer business

Qualifications

  • Proven strategic thinker with ability to execute, and an organized problem solver with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication / negotiating / closing skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels inside an organization.
  • Ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and CRM usage.
  • AEC or Manufacturing industry experience is important, ideally both.
  • Utility industry experience is not required, however is a big plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 10% in the territory
