Opened in 2024, Northern Private Hospital is recruiting experienced Enrolled Nurses to join our medical, surgical and theatre teams from January 2027.

Our purpose-built, 70-bed hospital features four operating theatres and specialist services including orthopaedics, general surgery, ENT, urology and gynaecology, with robotic-assisted hip and knee surgery.

Designed with nursing practice in mind, Northern uses digital communication technology that connects patient calls and clinical alerts directly to nursing staff, helping teams respond efficiently while maintaining a quieter environment for patients.

Your Opportunities

We're recruiting Enrolled Nurses with recent experience in:

• Medical & Surgical: Acute medical, general surgical, orthopaedic and specialist inpatient nursing, including postoperative care.
• Theatre & Perioperative: Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetics, Recovery/PACU and Day Surgery, subject to available positions and relevant experience.

You'll provide hands-on nursing care, monitor patients and support their treatment and recovery. Working alongside Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary teams, you'll contribute to safe, coordinated care within your scope of practice.

About You

To be considered, you'll need:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Current, valid working rights in Australia.
• Minimum 12 months post-graduate acute hospital experience, including recent experience in the specialty you apply for.
• Medication administration competencies, including IV qualifications.
• Strong clinical observation and patient care skills, with a commitment to safe practice, communication and teamwork.

• Remuneration: Base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $40.41 + super based on experience level and qualifications. Penalty rates and allowances are additional. (VIC Enrolled Nurse Year 1–Year 8*).
