Job Description

  • Full-time  OR Part time with minimum of .5 FTE Maximum Term (31 January 2027)
  • Friendly, fast paced environment

Working closely with the VMOs and nursing team. Responsible for the day to day management of inpatients and day treatment patients.  Provides surgical assisting to relevant VMO.  Expected to provide on call services as per service requirements. Position supervises Residents, Interns and medical students.

About you:

  • To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a broad spectrum of patients.
  • You will also have exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also bring:

  • Current General registration with AHPRA
  • Current clinical experience in Australia as PGY4 or above
  • Previous experience within a surgical team
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
