Mitcham Private Hospital is a fully accredited, 121 bed acute medical, surgical, maternity and mental health facility, providing for the healthcare needs of Melbourne’s outer eastern communities.

We are seeking a permanent Registered Midwife to join our Maternity Ward on night duty. you will play a key role in delivering safe, evidence-based care across all stages of the maternity journey. You will work closely with obstetricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and their babies. This role will see you work a rotating roster however permanent night duty is available if desired.

About you:

• Flexibility to cover shift requirements for this permanent night duty role
• Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
• Minimum 2 years experience in maternity
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centred care
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A passion for supporting women and families through their maternity experience
