Join Our Team as a Clinical Educator - Maximum Term position until May 2027 at WREN Women's Recovery Network | Ramsay Clinic Albert Road

Fixed-Term Part-Time 0.8 Opportunity (Leave Cover)

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) to join the WREN Women's Recovery Network team on a fixed-term basis to provide leave cover.

WREN is a specialist women's mental health service delivering innovative, recovery-focused care through inpatient and Hospital in the Home (HITH) programs. The service incorporates specialist streams in general mental health, perinatal mental health, and eating disorder treatment, supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.

About the Role

This fixed-term position provides an opportunity to lead and support nursing education, workforce capability, and professional development across WREN for the substantive Clinical Nurse Educator.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will work collaboratively with nursing, medical and allied health staff to support high-quality, evidence-based care through education, mentoring and clinical leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and delivering orientation and onboarding programs for new staff.
  • Supporting the professional development and clinical competency of nursing staff.
  • Delivering education in mental health nursing, recovery-oriented practice, trauma-informed care, eating disorder, perinatal and women's mental health care.
  • Facilitating mandatory training and competency assessments.
  • Supporting quality improvement, clinical governance and accreditation activities.
  • Promoting evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
  • Providing coaching, mentoring and clinical support to nursing staff.

About You

You are a passionate and experienced nursing professional with a strong commitment to education and professional development. We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Mental Health Nursing
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing practice.
  • Previous experience in clinical education, staff development, preceptorship or mentoring.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Post graduate qualifications in Education (desirable)
  • A Certificate IV TAE (desirable)

You will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to inspire and mentor others.
