Working as part of a supportive Food Services team, you will contribute to the smooth and efficient operation of food services while helping create a positive experience for patients throughout their stay.

About You

You are a reliable, friendly and caring person who takes pride in providing a high standard of service. You enjoy working as part of a team, have strong attention to detail and understand the importance of food safety and hygiene within a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, plating and delivery of meals and beverages
• Prepare and serve meals in accordance with patient dietary requirements
• Provide friendly and respectful service to patients, staff and visitors
• Assist with meal distribution and collection across the hospital
• Follow food safety, hygiene and infection prevention procedures
• Maintain appropriate food handling, storage and temperature control practices
• Clean and maintain kitchen, food service areas and equipment
• Assist with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required
• Support stock rotation, storage and replenishment
• Ensure meals and food services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner
• Work collaboratively with the Food Services team and other hospital staff
• Follow workplace health and safety policies and hospital procedures

You Will Also Bring

• Previous experience in food services, hospitality, catering or a similar environment is desirable
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• A friendly, professional and compassionate approach
• Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
