Job Description
Ramsay Clinic Northside is a purpose-built mental health facility located in St Leonards, Sydney. The clinic provides specialist inpatient and day patient services for a broad range of mental health conditions, including mood and anxiety disorders, drug and alcohol dependence, eating disorders, postnatal depression, adolescent and young adult mental health, and general mental health conditions. The facility also offers neurostimulation services and a variety of therapeutic day programs designed to support recovery and wellbeing.
About Role:
The Enrolled Nurse works as a member of the clinical team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, whilst enhancing and providing high-quality care to all patients and clients who access health services, with the provision of clinical and professional support to other members of the multidisciplinary team.
This is a Full-time or Part-time float position, requiring flexibility to work across various inpatient units within the hospital. The successful candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday on either AM or PM shifts and be adaptable to changing clinical environments and patient needs.
About You:
- Registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (without a notation)
- Successfully completed EN medication administration education
- Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant legislation
- Demonstrated experience working in a mental health setting
- Knowledge and ability to competently apply current nursing theory to provide holistic nursing care
- Ability to make sound decisions and accept responsibility for own practice
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Desirable:
- Successful completion of IV medication administration education
- Experience working in a health service industry
- Sound Computer literacy
