Job Description
Permanent Part-time role 15 hours fortnight.
In this role you will be facilitating and effectively managing clinical education and competency programs within our Maternity Unit. The role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services related to the clinical education of our team within the unit.
The role also requires working with and supporting management in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
What you will bring
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong specialist clinical skillset in Midwifery and a strong capacity for training and education of clinical team members.
- You will bring a passion for high quality care and the ability to inspire and develop that passion and skill in your team members.
- Skilled Registered Midwifery with AHPRA
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience within an acute maternity environment
- Comprehensive specialty knowledge
- Certificate IV Workplace Training and Assessment (or working towards)
- Post-Graduate Qualifications in Midwifery (or working towards)
- Passion to improve all aspects of the woman’s journey through the education of staff.
